Giveaway The Portuguese Travel Cookbook

Giveaway: The Portuguese Travel Cookbook

My Nelson Carvalheiro Dinner Party was so successful that I just want the fun to continue! Therefore, I’m giving away a signed first English edition copy of Nelson Carvalheiro’s new recipe book The Portuguese Travel Cookbook, valued at $39.99. Nelson Carvalheiro won FITUR’s Best Travel Blogger award in 2014 and 2015 (something I can only aspire to someday!), and this book was a winner at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2016.

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED – Winner is @miskomoon.

The Portuguese Travel Cookbook is a sort of memoir of Nelson’s travels around various regions of Portugal. In it, he reveals the history and cultural importance behind certain typical dishes, as well anecdotes from his journeys. The author also gives you suggestions for specific food and restaurants to try along the way – key knowledge for avid travelers like me. This information is interspersed with 50 traditional Portuguese recipes, which you can make at home. I particularly enjoyed all the photographs of Portugal’s landscape and close-ups of mouth-watering food.
